PETER HIORT PETERSEN & GRETHE LAUESEN

ENG.:  Peter Hiort Petersen and Grethe Lauesen have been married for 40 years and have been lucky to always have each other to inspire, creatively stimulate and discuss one another's art work with. They have artistically grown together, yet their artwork has each a very unique and distinct style very much of their own. Both artists are classically trained in Copenhagen, lived in Canada for almost 30 years and returned to Denmark in 2003. They now live on Bornholm, a little Danish island in the middle of the Baltic Sea, to Svaneke, a place where artists seem to gather.

DK.:  Peter Hiort Petersen og Grethe Lauesen har været gift i 40 år, og er så heldige, at de altid kunstnerisk har kunne  inspirere og stimulere  hinanden.  Deres arbejder er forskellige trods mange fælles synspunkter. Begge kunstnere er klassisk uddannede i København, har boet i Canada i næsten 30 år, og flyttede tilbage til Danmark i 2003. Nu bor de på Bornholm, i Svaneke, hvor mange kunstenere er bosat.
