Collages
Layers of painted paper, cut and glued and painted over again. Grethe's collage can sometimes be quite thick and heavy from all the squares of paper being added to the piece. It is especially in these collages, that her textiles and graphic educations can be seen. The patterns, the tactile textures, the faces and creatures they form, it is an endless playful world of imagination and colours.
