A bridge, cacti, a goat, a frog, some birds and fish, benches, devils and dragons .. it is a play with 3D, as Grethe calls it.

Fisk

Grethe took part in a group show in Silkeborg in 2009 with the theme of fish. Which explains the definite aquatic theme around this time in Grethe's work. These beautiful and often florescent fish mobiles and sculptures are something she is still playing. If you walk by where she lives, a fish mobile can be seen hanging in the window. On sunny days it is as though they are contagiously smiling at you.

Benches

There was a gallery in Aylmer, Quebec,  that had the great idea of having a bench exhibition where 5 artists were chosen to make a bench for the galleries gardens. It was an event that became a big success and repeated itself two years in a row.  Grethe has two benches in the galleries collection. The idea is one Grethe has since tried to sell to many, unfortunately it has yet to become reality on Bornholm. But that doesn't mean one cannot play around with ideas! Here are the models for the benches Grethe would love to have made.
